Higiant hydrated alumina hydrate HA-109 is a kind of alumina binder which does not contain calcium oxide and can occur hydration reaction. It is used in various refractories such as prefabricated parts, low cement castables, ultra-low Cement Castables and cementless castables.
Characteristic
HA-109 hydrated alumina has the following characteristics:
—The content of calcium oxide is less than 0.1%.
—It can improve the high temperature properties of refractories, especially Al2O3-SiO2 system.
